Organization: Forsyth County, Georgia Salary: $75,300 to $116,685 and includes an excellent benefits package Close Date: Job Description: Forsyth County, GA Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Centrally located at the foothills of the Georgia Mountains, on the shores of Lake Lanier, and only 40 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Forsyth County is currently recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting directly to the Board of Commissioners, the CFO will be responsible for providing oversight and leadership to the county’s financial programs. Primary duties will include: strategic planning, bond management, capital project and SPLOST funding management, control of enterprise funds and impact fees, and supervision of the Finance Department. Position requires a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and seven years of progressively responsible financial experience. Government finance experience and/or a CPA or Government Financial Officer Certification is preferred. Salary range is $75,300 to $116,685 and includes and excellent benefits package.
