Organization: Whitfield County, Georgia Salary: $85,000 to $125,000 Close Date: Job Description: Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Whitfield County, GA is the largest metropolitan area in northwest Georgia with an estimated population of 90,000. Along with the county seat of Dalton, Whitfield County is known as the Floor Covering Capital of the World. The County is currently accepting applications for the position of County Administrator. The Administrator will direct the operations of the County government; recommend goals and plans that support the strategic direction set by the County Board of Commissioners; direct the work of department heads, analyze operations, staffing levels and organizational structures, support systems, resource and government effectiveness. The County has 540 full-time employees. Position requires a Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or related field and seven years of progressively responsible experience.
